Uncovered.ink · Judge a book by its first pages - Thanks to Jason Kottke for the recommendation for Uncovered.ink, which is a site that shows you a few pages of a book with no book cover, title, nor author. This is such a brilliant idea. The interface is clean and just has options for genre and a nice display of a page at a time show up. I like this far more than Amazon’s book preview (for narrative books / fiction). The focus is on the words and if you like it you can get the title, author, and cover. I have found a couple books of strong interest and have tucked away the titles and authors.
